21st Century Top Models Announced

1/12/05. Quest Worldwide Productions (QWP) has announced the top model winners in the 21st Century Model Search and Competition for the 2004-05 season. Julianna Cervelli, of Georgia, last year’s Ingenue Model of the Year, walked away with the Fashion Model of the Year title! According to Deborah Davidson, founder of the search, Julianna's height at 5 foot 10 and 1/2 inches and her stunning natural beauty are the perfect compliments to her career ambitions in the world of high fashion modeling, runway and print. Julianna, at the age of sixteen, is no stranger to the modeling world. She has been scouted by many top modeling agencies and was a finalist in the Elite Model Look 2003. Julianna recently completed a photo shoot for Tiffany Designs and Jacquelin Exclusives to appear in Seventeen Magazine and traveled to New York to work on a project called "Faces of Change", a limited edition calendar produced to benefit through sales over 15 different charities. "I am very excited for Julianna", says Davidson. "She is successfully balancing her modeling opportunities and goals with her education. Her future looks bright."

Danielle Malatek, an experienced model and pageant participant from Iowa, was named Commercial Model of the Year, a division reserved for adult and teen models under 5' 8" in height. Tyler Layne, a rising child actor, model and singer from Virginia was named Child Model of the Year. In the youngest divisions, 6 year old Evan Ruby of Georgia was named Little Model of the Year and Gia Bagnuolo of New Jersey and Chanel Rosenthal of Florida tied for Tiny Model of the Year.

Now in it's seventh year, the 21st Century Model Search and Competition is open to talented men, women, teenagers and children (over age 2) interested in gaining exposure and opportunities in the entertainment and fashion fields. The competition is based and judged on natural beauty, individualism, personality, expression, and potential. Additional title winners included:

Model of the Year Divisions:

Marcella Padmore, Albera, Canada, Swimsuit/Fitness Model of the Year and Best Smile Model of the Year.

Cody Kremer, New York, Best Pose Model of the Year.

Sierra Shepard, Florida, Best Eyes Model of the Year.

Model of the Year KIDS Divisions:

Jacob Steinbach, Florida, Best Smile Model of the Year.

Bailey Natali, Louisiana, All Dressed Up Model of the Year.

Olivia Beall, Maryland, Action/Sports Model of the Year.

The search is a fun, inexpensive, and stress free way for models and talent to showcase themselves to professional agents and scouts who may be in search of new faces and rising talent. "As a result of this contest, many have learned to utilize the internet as a tool for self-promotion. It is a creative way to combine the benefits of instant access to online portfolios and resumes with the more traditional methods of promotion such as tear sheets, business cards, and comp cards", said Davidson.

These talented winners will be featured on the 21st Century Model Search and Competition website for the coming year and added to the Quest Hall of Fame which showcases current and former winners.
